interesting french tracks

Hi Guys (& gals ?)

I have just stumbled across some lovely french road rally tracks.
Drove them in an Alpine 110 (what else !) delightful stuff, the routes are one col used in many rallys like the " Monty" others at the criterium des cevenes.

after a run , dont forget to replay in the television mode- c'est si bon !!

I tried to use the links but I need to be logged in to dl them. I am/was(?) a member there before but hardly ever go there as I don't understand French that well...couldn't even find how to log in for that matter lol Is it possible these tracks could be posted here as well? They look...umm... c'est magnifique? 9 years of French in school...used maybe 30 times in the next 40 years = derrrr

You can use Google Translate to find what you need. Logging in is done on the pink strip near top of the page. Telechargment = Download.

If you still have problems Phil let me know and I'll send you a link to a download that I'll make for you.

und please be carefull from the cockpit view, even 75 kmph comes at you really fast -bad for the eyes and brain.

Hmmguy, I dont think its showing off as much as being super happy about these new tracks and the superb details; have you had the chance to try them out ? GTL does not have these sort of rally tracks hence the euphoria, I guess.

But I must apologies to any frenchmen or largely french speaking folks on the forum, if they feel offended, for my instigating all the fun banter. I guess most of us on this site/forum are english or primarily english speaking and perhaps we have been overly chauvenistic.

It's simple, very simple, is just good humour! Usually some of us are happy guys, jokers, mostly the elder people, we learned how to be happier than we were younger, life teach us to smile more, even more in this so friendly community!
So, no one of us, as elder men,  need to be show off, never, because we have more important things to do instead do any kind of show off. Simple as that!!
It's enough you watch , as example, some of us, like myself, GeeDee, babis_xo, Zee, philrob, jd121449, Marian, and many, many others.
If we wrote in french, (usually using Google translator, hahahaha!!), is just and simple joke, to laugh a little, just that!
AND BELIEVE ME, WE'RE NOT GOING TO CHANGE OUR BEHAVIOR,  because we are this way, we became, at least here, to use continuosly the good humour, the joke, as if we were just very young teenagers.
This kind of behavior, be sure of that, make us have a longer and better life.
Not show off, just kindness with our fellows, our friends.

Tested in 2 tracks, and is a tough, very tough job to try to drive fast. Very much work in pedals and wheel, as usual in rallies drive.
About the track itself, a great job, very well done , very pleasurable, amazing views in a very nice enviroment. I confess that it was a surprise for me.

rE YOUR COMMENT "REALLY TOUGH"
I too have been experimenting with which are the easiest cars to drive on the french rally stages. So far I find the Fiat 850 (perin fiat) the easiest and go10 % faster, off course I am using "semi Pro " mode with auto shifting and with 2-3 degrees more lock on the steering than standard( also I can feel getting steering assist from GTL and it helps in the hair-pin bends).
I tried Triumph herald ( because I own a real one !) and find that easy too, I go faster in that than in the triumph Vitess and gt-6, I think because you dont need so much torque from a bigger motor.
The 1100 Alpine is nice but the 1800 cc is not. All Porsches are terrible !! Maybe when my skill improves or I get used to the tracks the porsches will be better.
Front wheel drive is also not so good i.e Lancia fulvia.

looks great - thank you for sharing ... sadly the tracks do not run with me ... when loading programm crashes ... has anyone problems like this?
