Terrible news

I'm a bit late with this but I just couldn't bring myself to face this tragedy

My condolences to Chris, Phil's son. I am so sorry for your loss mate.

This is also a huge loss to the GTR2 modding community, not only here but many other sites too.

Phil and I became friends through the modding scene, originally here at Evolution modding about 5 years ago and later on when working on mods together, particularly an update to the Can-Am mod with another friend, GeeDee (which will be released soon in memory of Phil). Later on working on numerous cars he would throw at me for AMT and most of that contact with Phil was via video chat so I got to know him face to face.

He was a great bloke, witty, intelligent and politically astute. A straight shooter with a wicked sense of humour and had a quote or a meme for practically any situation which cropped up in our conversations.

But Phil often confided in me about his health which wasn't the best and he complained of having a headache for the last couple of years.

I hope that your pain is gone now mate and you have moved on to a better place.

Just came back to this hobby, only to hear about Phil. It's never going to be the same!!!! My condolences to his family and to the community as a whole.
