| Great idea - we need this to ensure more competitive racing.
As you say the Porsche 935 and BMW M1 eat just about everything else in GTC-76. They need a class of their own.
Await tutorial with interest. Will it be in English?

| Well, to release a more accurate and genuine classes, may I suggess to base new classes on real classes ? - Group 5 - Procar BMW M1 Championship (monotype) - Le Mans 70/72 - F1 75 - F1 79 - Tour de France (with all classes Group 5 and Le Mans 70/72 as well) - World Sportscar Championship - Group C (for which a specific mod already exists) Which car for which class ? This is THE question since the FIA classification changed each year as well as Le Mans classes whiwh included different parts of Group (4, 5 and 6 for exemple)...Let's try to work on a cross date classifiaction and limit to 1971/1982 for "production cars" since we could easely put proto class into Le Mans 1970/1972 Group 5 (4th Generation) – “Special Production Cars” (1976 to 1982)- Porsche 935 (includes the 935-77, 935-78 Moby-Dick, Kremer K3 and K4 and the JLP)
BMW 320i Toyota Celica Turbo A22 (1st generation) Toyota Celica Turbo A45 (2nd generation) Nissan Skyline RS Silhouette Formula Nissan Nichira Impul Silvia Mazda RX-7 SA22 Nissan Bluebird SSS Turbo BMW 3.0 CSL, and Turbo BMW M1 Ferrari 512BB Lancia Stratos Turbo Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo Ferrari 512BB LM Ford Capri Turbo Ford Escort Zakspeed Lotus Europa Gr.5 Greenwood Wide-Body Corvette
Group 4 (1966 / 1975)Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, Porsche 911 Carrera RS Porsche 911 Carrera RSR De Tomaso Pantera GTS Shelby Cobra Daytona LM 1970/1973 (GT and proto)Ferrari 512S Ford GT40, Lola T70, Chaparral, Alfa Romeo 33, Porsche 906, Porsche 908, Porsche 917 Shelby Cobra Matra MS 630, 650, 670 Ferrari Daytona Porsche 911S Porsche 911 RS Porsche 911 RSR Porsche 934 (935 ?) Corvette ZL1 & L88 7.0L Not so easy guys... My suggess is just a suggess. Cheers [list][*]

| Maybe start to work as the GTL 1.1 and regear the class after all:
GT class Proto class Le Mans class (GT and Proto all together)
And based on circa: GT and Proto 1966; GT and Proto 1970/1975, and so on.
I think that the concern is to not playing the game with a Ferrari California and a Porsche 911S into the same race. Or a Porsche 956 or BMW M1 with a Ferrari Daytona...no chance to make a good lap and obtain a good grid place.
Not need to be sharp between 1970 and 1975...I think.

| Why not create classes by Year and or the old classes Group 4 =GT modified ; Group 2 =Tourism modified ; Group 1 = Stock Tourism ; Group 3 = Stock GT ; Group 5 = Tourism modified (before 1969 ).After 1974 the Group 5 was made for BMWs and Porsches highly modified to run with Group 6 = Prototypes "Le Mans type" .The Transam was run with Group 2 cars in the beginning then create his own rules. | |

This is partly true. Group classifications merged into another over time...And a group 5 in 1966 (Porsche 908, Alfa 33/3...) is not the group 5 in 1975...Maybe the best way is to effectivly sort out the new classes by Year...And let simgamer to activate or not each "Year". The point is that we will have a full of classes...maybe too much no ?

| I have: LM70 - All the LM70 Prototypes prototypes plus a Porsche 914/6 from the game in it's original Le Mans 1970 skin (downloadable at NoGrip) and a Ferrari 275 with a random skin (there was one at Le Mans 1970).
VTCC ("Vintage Touringcar Championship") - Some Nissan Skyline GT-R KPGC-10, some Opel Kadetts, some Ford Escorts, waiting for the 2002tii and the RX-3.
24h - A class inspired from the 24h race at the Nürburgring, with many cars from many classes (racecars only), no too rare cars like the 300SL or the Aston DB5.
Street - Cars with street skins from all eras.
