Definately interested! I would love to see even half of those cars in GTL or GTR2!

Don't you think they are all too much cartoonish??
We have in GTL a level of quality miles and miles ahead.

Ok...as some of u know,this mods are already (specially the protos,way ahead in terms of photoshop treatment then they look in this pic...90% of them are already shining with new wheels,flames working,new glasses etc...however they still mis working lights ( the sounds and physics one of my tem members can look into that later),and the worst part,it has no cockpit and ill never be able to give it to them.

if u have a can am mod for gtlegends way ahead of this,then please do share,as i never found any,maybe its private i dunno...however the fact is specially in the protos u dont find Porsches 936,alpine and many others anywhere,so I had to bring them from scgt,same as group5 stratos...and also that Lola t333 and a few others...

so this brings to the second part of my question...as most of u know this mod is being worked by me and 2 other guys,as posted in f1c and other private forums,however definetelly in order for them to get more qualitty i need more help.
Dont worry,high qualitty or not both mods will be released,those that want it may use it,ones that dont just leave it aside...however it would be better if in teamwork we d achieve at least a reasonable qualitty..so my second quiz is..who has freetime,strong will and knowledge enough to imprive textures,and or give them working lights,and or get cockpits for them?...I dont....if any of u guys can or is willing to help its all good and we re friends just the same,i just thought bout bringing this mod and search for help here cause definetelly evo-modding is where i see more fans of legend cars...
Make no mistake,its a huge task,can am has about 42 cars and the protos i havent counted them but its more then that,yeterday i converted 20 cars and i was exhausted..lol..
so i leave it up to u guys to let me know if anyone is willing and able to seriously work with me and my 2 teammates on this one.

P:S: Dont worry,i know i usually leave my releases for private sites,to avoid forum wars,but this one will be completelly public and of course released here as well.

Soze and I have been quitely working for a long time to try and convert a different version of the CanAm cars, but this version has several cars we had hoped to get but couldn't.
Even if they are low poly and maybe a bit cartoonish, I personaly would rather have them and hope to improve them over time.

heres a look of how cars are looking more now,at least 80% of the protos...

on this stage shown on the video its me and my buddy almafera work...some like the can am and a few prtotos are not so advanced,but around 80-90% of the protos are...

Just one request,if we are gona make this come alive then must be the 2 mods complete,not just a few cars,with some exceptions...maybe for the ferraris 312pb we can use the ones released by MG if he allows it with all the real skins released here..but thats an exception

I agree totaly, there are way to many different classes and years of cars shownTo try to put them all in one mod.

The CanAm cars are what I am most interest in working on atm. I grew up watching them race at Riverside, so I have a big soft spot for the CanAm and TransAm cars.

I was the author of the paintjobs on the historical 312PB cars from MG so I can guarantee that the CanAm cars I do will be just as historicaly acurate as those were.

its in 3 big eras

Late 60's Protos
71-74 Class
75-79 Class,including 2 domes ( the orange ones )...
But dont worry the gbd file will have class and year by year,u can join them all in one race or not by lighting the class specified.

And of course...

Can-Am

Yes those are very distinct year and type groups and should be separated as such.
I'm eager to see the other classes you are working on too.
I'm just much more knowledgeable about the CanAm than I am the others.

The CanAm cars I'm most interested in are the Lola T70, Porsche 917/10 and the Porsche PA, the others look close to what we have but it would be nice to look at the other CanAm cars to see if there are any others we can integrate in to the group.

I'm not much of a modder, that is more Soze's side of things, but I'm a pretty descent painter even if I do say so myself.

so bottom line,
ull all get the cars as everybody will as the mods will be released at UMD,F1c and here,Plus EEC,but in order for this to gain more qualitty,if someone is willing to help and work hard with my team send me pm.
items needing atention:
- WORKING LIGHTS
- POSILISHING AND IMPORVING TEXTIRES AND WHEELS IN MOST OF THE ( SO my buddy almafera doesnt have to work alone)
- GETTING COCKPIT FOR THEM.

If anyone is up to it,its all god anyway and ull get the mod when its done just the same..no worries....it may not allways look like it,but im a good guy

HOLY @#&*!!! These are AWESOME!!! Yes, they need some work, but we have some amazing modders out there and I know the help will bring these beauties up to the regular GTL/ GTR2 high standards. We just gotta have the Can-Ams...we just gotta!! Sweet!

Bring in all the cars. CAN-AM Cars are one of my favourites and all the cars
from 1971-81 I would like to see in GTR2.

Couldn't agree more! We have some extremely talented modders and skinners who have a wealth of experience with GTR2/GTL
And I have every confidence that they can help to make this mod a total sucess,a landmark mod even!
Lets face it,there's not a single car there that anybody doesn't want,its a long held dream by most to see these powerful beauties brought to GTL/GTR2,we need this mod,its a MUST for us as racing enthusiasts
