sorry, but i can not find the Friday Night Bangers mod.
It's a bit misleading calling it that tbh. The actual site is here;
http://www.onlinebangers.co.uk/
The Friday Night Bangers bit is a link on the bottom left of the screen. There's supposed to be some other interesting cars like the 1950's big Jags but I couldn't find the downloads for everything mentioned. Let me know if you find them...

Still getting there with the Jags. Lots of options sorted like the early 2.4 front end and various arches and wheels etc but it really needs an optional racing interior for the Special Saloons before release so that's the next task;

Probably not but there might've been rallied that way. I have seen pics of the 2.4 racing but the rear spats were removed as they contributed towards brake fade by retaining heat. I added them as an option just because they look cool

After many threats of violence and stern legal action from Fatguts I'm just about finished with the Jag MK1. I'm now on with skinning so hopefully they'll be released soon. I do have a couple of questions though;
I've noticed Tommy Sopwith racing wearing a white T shirt and wondered if anyone knows of drivers outfits which are more like street clothes/heads which might be closer to the way they were back in the 1950's?
Is there any interest in a couple of standard cars to be included in the mod? I mean something like this early Cornish Grey 2.4;
I could do the period racers for release and have standard cars and the fictional stuff as separate add-ons. Any thoughts?

Hi Mel, fwiw I'd prefer the historical real-racers in a release and then all the remaining stuff aside. Thank you for your wonderful works!

Here is a 50's helmet that I'm using for my 100s mod. I took it from the 1955 F1 mod for rFactor.
I'll have a go at doing the drivers clothes, but the arms maybe an issue.

Thanks for that, I'll have a look in the morning I've managed to sort a T-shirt for Tommy! It looks ok but the cockpit view hands won't be as easy I fear

Arent driver hands part of the driver suit? Which isnt car dependent, its basically what you choose by installing certain suit (or suits) which then appear everywhere in the game.

In the Cockpits GTL uses a dds called Driver_Arms which has sleeves and gloves on it. It might be possible to paint that although I think bare arms would look odd and lumpy!

If you mean the Jag MK1's they've been modified from the original Jag MKII's that are in GTL. The stuff shown in the first post are 3d models I've found online that I hope to get in-game some day Next up after the Jags will be the Zephyr/Zodiac MK2
