Barely. The differences are the tail lights, the (front) grille ( = the grille's bars are not inclined anymore, but vertical), "new" 1,6L engine, partially new emblems ("1600" inscription appeared or replaced the "TWIN CAM" inscription). The Mk.II lasted only 2 years anyway, the MGB replacing the MGA in 1962. Anyway, decided to do this car because it's closer to GTL, I mean it's fully mapped, just like GTL cars. So, true GTL fans will find this a better mod for GTL indeed. It'll have a new SW style (plastic stock/factory), plus some other differences here and there compared to the other mod, all for better. Yup, the car is kinda slow even for TC-class, but that's the way it should be in my opinion. _________________ Ferrari ... F1's soul since 1950

| What do you think about this, guys? The 1963-1971 SL (W113) ''Pagode'': Started to work on this mod. Managed to fix already some stuff that was wrong ( = had to resize the wheels because they were smaller than should have been, equipped the rims with GTL-like tyres etc) and this is how it looks so far. As you can see (I painted the hardtop a different colour - black - and placed a number on the body), the body is mapped, so skinable. The car is mid-poly, more exactly like 33% more polygons compared to GTL default cars. So, nothing high-poly etc, that's why I think it's very usable in GTL. The bad part is there's no cockpit almost at all... only what you can see in the screens. More exactly, just some headrests and half of a SW. Other than that... nothing. We can borrow the cockpit from the 300 SEL 6.8, but has to be modified. What I'm trying to say: without some help, I don't think I'll finish it properly. Also, looking at the headlights and at the side lights, you can figure this is the US version of the car. _________________ Ferrari ... F1's soul since 1950

True that. In my opinion, back in 1962-63, designs like the MB W113, Corvette C2, MG MGB etc made most of the cars from those years look dated. And I mean designs like E-Type, 250 GTO. Yup, the model is good, better ( ~ 25% more polygons I'd say) than GTL models. It's worth bothering indeed. - jeannomiller wrote:

Have there been any racing version - except rally? AFAIK... no. Only rally. Maybe because this car filled the place in MB's garage for circuit racing: I'll make it look badass. don't worry! _________________ Ferrari ... F1's soul since 1950

| Good find m8----I drive an 1983 MB 300 turbo diesel----it's not fast but it's solid---if you spool up the turbo it's quicker than you would expect plus gets 35--40 mpg. | |

| Hey Marian, the W113 looks great. Have you found a matching cockpit ? I had in 2011 once a W113 converted, which was never published. From this Car i could give you a Low and Mid Poly Cockpit. Possibly, other mesh of the Car useful for you, the Headlights, for Example. I give you, if interested, the mesh and textures. And do not worry, I do not know yet, which my new Beta and WIP Cars be realized. | |

And do not worry, I do not know yet, which my new Beta and WIP Cars be realized. Awesome! Yes, I need it, I need it! I was going to try the cockpit from 300 SEL 6.3, but it's not a perfect match of course... as a design either. I'm going to borrow the SW, the seats and the interior mirror tho. Yup, I could use those EU headlights too! Anyway, I was going to do my "work", then release the mod in case a true modder would want to pick it up and add a cockpit. BTW, the WIP 250 LM is different than the one already released?! It seems to be a better model than the 250 LM you already released. And one more thing: I'd like to have the mid-poly cockpit! The low-poly stuff is really dated in my opinion and not really worth bothering anymore. _________________ Ferrari ... F1's soul since 1950
