Yeah, no problem. By default the game won't use the rack & luggage because there's no Genstring digit left to add it. This car is one of those cars where I could use at least 4-5 digits more in the Genstring line. That rack and the luggage it's not something most guys will want to have on the car when racing, so I just added a blank 3D file to be used by the mod. Decided to keep the parts for the sake of diversity, so the actual 3D file with the rack and luggage will have to be added manually to desired skin. Progress... (mapped the lights, mapped and added the steering wheel, added exterior mirrors, new rims - no hubs, RHD version etc) _________________ Ferrari ... F1's soul since 1950

Yup, cockpit available. - Soze wrote:

Yeah, the model is great, best around so far. Well, it's the Speedster version. No softop, hardtop or something like that to turn it into a covered version. It's very good actually because the other two 356 mods around are the Coupe version, so this complete the 356 range. It came equipped with bumpers, guards, rack & luggage, leather straps for the bonnet, rollbar, rims with hubs, rear number plate, standard and vented engine lid. Made them all removable/changeable. To turn it into a more "complete" version, I added mirrors for the exterior, rims without hubs, exterior fuel cap on the bonnet, Dunlop marked tyres. I want to add some other mirror styles, exhausts, cut the windshield, some other rollbar styles etc. All additions are based on historic cars. Regarding the physics, added 4 sets: factory spec 1.5L and 1.6L. These are slow, too slow even for Abarth 1000TC. But this is how they should be. Then added some Competition sets, increased power, to compete in the TC class. That's it for the moment. You can check the screens for these differences. Do you have something particular in mind? _________________ Ferrari ... F1's soul since 1950

| I was hoping to paint the covered versions (SL, Coupe, Carrera...), they're the most usual at the races I'm working on, I think, but I can paint a number of Speedsters too.

| Nice That covered 356 that is around is actually a hardtop coupé of which I have yet no evidence it was ever used in competition. A true coupé would be very lovely | |

| The only two cars worth converting from scratch from Horizon 3. 90% of the others are the same exact models ever since FM4. | |

Disagree. There're still like 5-10 cars worth converting available only to FH3. The 356 Speedster I released already is 1 of the cars. The main reason why FH3 is not such a ''nice place'' to convert cars from compared to Forza 3, 4, FHorizon, FHorizon 2 is because most mapping of the cars is lost in the conversion process. Only the interior (exterior view) seems to be working in every car and the body just in some cases. The 356 Speedster and 166 MM Barchetta are lucky cases where the body mapping is OK, but for the 500 Mondial, 250 LM the body mapping is messed up, impossible to use. Rest of parts for every car needs remapping + texture = a lot more work+skills than converting cars from F3,4 etc. Anyway, I guess it's worth giving a try, some cars are available for the 1st time in gaming. _________________ Ferrari ... Not to pile on, but the '60s and '70s Aussie classics (the various Falcons and Holdens in particular) would also be amazing additions. Anyways: those Ferraris are looking great, can't wait to try them! | |
