Well, well, well!!! This definitely calls for celebration!

A car I desperately want (not need; there is a difference), someone who, I believe, wants it in GTL, and that person is eminently capable of making it! Hooray!!!

I will begin painting just as soon as a template is available. Not sure how many cars I can do, as there is the usual problem of deciphering decals, but the basic car is not a problem (I don't think, anyway), so I should be able to paint all that I posted pics of. Of course, anyone who'd like to paint one or more, just holler, and I'll do another. Duplicates aren't needed (or desired, since there is only one, so far), and a new mod certainly deserves as many new, and different, paints as can be done.

A hearty 'Thanks' goes out to Dalin, for permission and, of course, to speester1963 for tackling the project. Thanks so very much, guys!!!

Thanks for the Z3D Files Dalin, very good quality.   
And there begin the problems!

Very bad news .....    
I have begun to convert the RBR Volvo PV544 Sport from Dalin.
I had initially been told that the files are very large.
This has now been confirmed. Dalin has the Volvo built very detailed.
I think, he is too big for GTL.    
Example 1: Only the Body has already 4882 KB!

Example 2: The Chrome parts of the Body are 1901 KB in size!

Even if I do not use parts of the original RBR Mod, as
Engine / Suspension / Wheels / Exhaust.........
the Car will probably over 15 MB BIG.

If you want to but a car without engine suspension and wheels?
I just do not know further.    
To reduce the individual materials would be the solution.
But how can you make this, without anything to recreate?

I need help.....  

How big would be the complete mod if you use everything you got from Dalin plus a few skins?
I ask because for example the Mercedes300SEL Mod by DonPanoz is unpacked 141MB in size.

@speedster: definitly, in my humble opinion, I don't think a good idea you try to cut something in this nice work.
We have been downloaded some Mods and tracks with more than 250/270 MB, even more sometimes.
I think, in nowadays, almost everybody has HDs with great capacity in their computers.
Unfortunatelly, those very few people who has not space in HD, will not can download, but, in majority, for sure, most people will can put this big pack in their game.
So, for me, speedster, go forward and do what you propose to do for our enjoyment, and don't be afraid.

Well folks, I did not say that I give up.   
On the contrary, I'm looking for solutions.

It's not about how big the Complete Mod is.
It's about the individual Vehicle.
Don Panoz 300SEL for Example.
The complete Chassis with external Interior has 1600 KB at the 300SEL.   
The Volvo Body alone with Chrome parts for the PV544 is already having 6780 KB.       
Since nothing is in it. No Dash, no windows, no light ................

I'm not sure, but I think speedster is afraid of the mod needing\taking too much power from a computer, not just having a large enough hard-drive. In other words, only the most up-to-date computers will be able to run the mod; all others will be unable to run the mod at the minimum of 24 to 30 FPS, or better. Below that FPS, the sim just jerks along, being largely unable to be driven.

I could be wrong...

I have worked a bit further.
and am now at 9500 KB.
But still missing a lot of parts.



Of the pictures the Volvo has now:
Body / Bottom / Chrome Parts / Dash / Windows / Light / Low Interior.
Let's see how I get stuck the next time.

I still have a deviation is detected.
The RBR Volvo PV544 is too small for GTL.
If my information is correct,the PV544
