| Well, not really yet but I got you to look. Over at Nogrip I saw some screens of a 64 Ford thunderbolt drag car. This brought to mind one of the last stops I made at one of my customers body/repair/restoration shops in Pittsburgh before I retired back in 2008. He was and still is quite a craftsman. I like to think that I taught him everything he knew since he worked for me at my parts store after high school back in the early seventies. But I digress. He was working on a customer car which lo and behold was a factory thunderbolt, which I might add did not grow on trees. Anyway, a dim bulb went off in my aging feeble brain. Why not a drag racing mod which includes only cars of the vintage variety such as the Thunderbolts,Hemi cudas, SS396 Chevelles (Of which I was a proud owner of back in 1966!) 327 and 427 Corvettes, Camaros (Grumpys Toy!) yes Cobras which were NHRA A/SP record holders for quite a while back in the 60's. Olds 442's, GTO's, Buick gran sports, an occasional tin indian, Z11 Chevelles, the entire Yenko stable with a few Motion cars added. . I think you get the idea. I don't think we need BMW M3's ,Ferraris and drift cars. I f you get my drift (OUCH PUN ). My question, is it possible to have drag strip tracks in GTL? Also is this a crazy idea or what. JD PS: Maybe we could get George Hurst (The shifty doctor, or maybe Linda Vaughn ) Moon Industries and M&H Racemaster slicks to sponsor us. | |

| It is crazy but some will love it. From what I remember, there are starting and stopping issues when trying to run one as neither GTR2 of GTL support this kind of racing. It could be interesting though just to see what you can handle on a straight track. | |

| I use all of those cars (what I can) in a Muscle car loading of GTL. I use tracks I like, usually longer ones where I can open em up. I swap big engines in and make street freaks. Yeah, I know I'm twisted...so what? I need more numberless street skins though. | |

| Hmmm I remember a drag strip being pretty popular in NFS High Stakes a while back... But I'm not sure if GTL would support a point-to-point track. Col de Joux is point-to-point I think but it uses a gimmick. | |
