| I was waiting for my laundry to dry and was a little bored. My current Homemade PC does not have any FPS issues but this might be helpful for some guys with multicore CPU's. It is a free program that will PERMANENTLY set both CPU affinity, process and memory priorities. I ran GTL, used the program to set all 8 cores, process and memory to high, closed GTL. Restarted and the result is shown below. Before 128FPS free pic" /> After 194FPS how to screenshot on windows" /> http://www.bitsum.com/processlasso/ Of course use at your own risk and all results will vary. | |

| Nice one jd121449, I just got a new machine and noticed that GTL only runs one core by default and was alt-tabbing back to task manager to set the affinity to all 8 (!) cores and flipping back - yeah, what a difference with the other cores activated ! So a tool to permanently hold the affinity settings would be very handy. Thanks for the heads up mate, i'll check it out | |
