I just went and looked and there actually weren't any sounds provided. What I recall was that the mod used two aud files. One for the 60's cars and one for the 70's cars. If you can't wait for the 2.0 version, then you're going to have to use a couple of different aud files and change the cars in the .car files so as they have sound.

Hey folks, did you ever start out to do something and then something completely unexpected turns out and is better than you intended? I was going to make a video showing what it's like to launch one of the fastest cars in the mod in 2nd gear and was just trying to control it around the track and it wasn't pretty. Well, later on I blew a corner and ended up making what might be the longest, blackest and certainly, widest patch ever in GTR2.

Hey folks, Phil's video extravaganza has arrived in town today! For some reason, my laptop has gotten in to a bunch of steroids and has now been handling any amount of cars on any track I've thrown at it. And throw I have. There are now 14 or more new videos at various different tracks including a number of which, that will be included with the mod when it's released. PhilRob has worked his magic and we will now have a number of tracks in period that were never in GTR2 before this to run the races of the Seasons with! Rather than post 14+ links here, I decided to make them all public so as you can browse through them at your convenience...there are about 48 of them now I think
If you have bothered to read any of the thread you will notice that this is a huge mod that can actually grow bigger with new mods each month, week as new ones are found or offered. This means the work is always going on an on and no one knows how long it will be.
All we know is that it will be H U G E ! ! !

Any news from this fantastic mod?
Thanks for your interest
As GeeDee has mentioned, it is huge. In excess of 900 hdc files are involved. I would guesstimate it to be about 80+% completed as it sits today. Plus there will be a number of tracks from track master PhilRob included that as far as I'm aware, have never been seen in GTR2 before Be patient as it will arrive

Time for some new videos again. This time it's a Time Trial race with me driving the Shadow dn4 against a prior ghost I made driving the George Follmer 917/30 set to it's race hp at Riverside. I was testing the Shadow and I saw that my best lap time was less than a tenth of the Porsche so I used it as a gauge to know how I was doing plus it was very cool to have these 2 cars...ahem...battling. What transpired was I had one very awesome race and managed to get 2 videos of it. This first one is in the chase view
The 2nd video is from TV view. My laptop began chugging around the :52 mark so I would bother watching the rest of it. Sorry
Don't forget to checkout all of the videos I've made for the mod on my channel
I was lucky enough to go to a lot of Can Am races when I was a kid, and to race at Riverside, so this mod is especially special to me, so Thank You!!!!!!!

that's great then joe! Yvw mate While I never got to see them in person, they have always been my favourite class of cars to ever race.
I my personal opinion, they were THE baddest ass race cars ever built, even compared to F1, .....F5000 was kinda' crazy, but that went away too...... Truly, the work is appreciated by many of us!!!!!

I couldn't agree with you more joe! Along with the 917/30 being the first car with driver adjustable turbo boost, I've also read it was the first car to have driver adjustable rear anti-sway so as the driver could dial in as much over-steer as they wanted.
