I may have to start up again. All is well with me, just have'nt had much extra time lately. Just a quick update to the MGB from the WSC mod from a long time ago. Sort of like a sheep in SCCA clothing.

Well hello there jd. Good to know your creative juices are still overflowing mate...

OK, well I sent this MGB to the boneyard. The model was really low detail so I thought I would try to convert the MGB GT that MG421982 presented to us awhile ago. I have made some progress but it will still take some more time to complete. If MG421982 has no objections, when I finish it I will upload this guy. The trunk panel is not real accurate but it is the best I could do and still retain the ability to have painted stripes without it looking too weird. If someone knows of a better model of the roadster I would have a go at that.

Gee is right. Yes, you can do what you want with the MGB GT I've released, jd121449.

Another possibility is to contact ga2jo at Racing FR or via pm at NoGrip as he's involved in the GTL conversion of an original MGB mod from rFactor which has 4 body styles: hardtop, Sebring, soft top open and soft top closed.

It might save you a lot of 3d work...

The LHD model is pretty much done. I may release this in the next few days by itself since the RHD version will take some time to finish. There are a lot of rollbar, wheels, headlight cover, chassis combos to consider. Any opinions on doing it this way?

The only reason I see to release the LHD model is so that skinners can paint up a storm, while you complete the RHD car and it's accessories. Otherwise, I think that a release of both models (LHD\RHD) should be simultaneous...but that's just one man's opinion.

By the way...the car looks stunning! Thanks for tackling it!!!
