This is a link to the AC Ace.rar --I converted it to .gtr files but the .gtl files are still there.
With all respects to DonPanoz I converted all the classic cars to run in P&G in the LM class.
To convert back to GTL edit the .cas file and each of the .car files to run in the original class.

NEChris is looking for the template which is not included in the mod itself.

Mod is available at altbierbude and racedepartment.

Anytime! What kind of skins are you planning on making? I'm interested in doing some historic racing liveries but I've got a lot to sort out in my installed mods first.

The zip includes the following skins:
1956 Mille Miglia: #234 Bruno Ferrari, AC Ace AE 40
1957 Sebring 12 hrs: #35 A.C. Ace Bristol, AC Ace BEX 183
1958 Le Mans 24 hrs: #27 A.C. Cars Ltd, AC Ace BEX 399
1959 Le Mans 24 hrs: #29 Rudd Racing Ltd., AC Ace BE 214

The AC Ace folder includes the following files which will overwrite the original ones so please make a back-up:
- Bristolsounds.aud: calls the original mod sounds but modified for a different external sound
- ACE260.eng and ACE260.grb: based on data found at https://www.automobile-catalog.com/car/1956/212345/ac_ace_bristol.html and various other sites
- ACE260.hdc: reduced BodyDragBase for a bit higher top speed
- ACE260.tyr: tyre file from P&G V3.0 AC Cobra

56234  and 59029 should be RHD but that model is sadly not available.

For some drivers I used the helmet/face from the LM55 mod so many thanks to DonPanoz & Team.

The skins are made for DonPanoz' mod for GTL but it’s not too difficult to run them in GTR2, e.g. in GTL-GTR2 or in PnG3:
1.  Rename all .gtl files to .gtr
2. Replace the AC_ACE.cas file with the one included in the GTR2 files folder
3. Make sure you  have GTL_STEX.GTR and GTL_TALENT.gtr (included in PnG3 mod) in the Teams folder or copy/rename Talent.gtl to Talent.gtr
4. Replace all .car files with the ones in the GTR2 files folder
5. Move SIM_LEGENDS_Legends50s.gdb from the GTR2 files folder to GameData folder
6. To have the PnG3 showroom floor: move the .dds files from the GTR2 files folder to the AC Ace folder
7. Select in game the 50’s Legends class (there should also be the other LM55 cars)
