This is still speedsters car model reworked a bit. I sent him a PM so maybe he will respond. I have changed a bunch of things and it is coming along. If the other model comes out without the Spyder type I might have a go at that also.

I changed the windscreen area, lowered the targa bar, reworked the cockpit, rebuilt the rear panel, added a side trim moulding and a bunch of other little stuff. I was reading the readme that came with the original car from speedster, and it states that the car can be used or changed as long as you include his original readme, and of course I would credit him also. there was no response from the PM but maybe a release is still possible as per speedster's readme. Any opinions?

I'd release it. He's pretty specific on what he requests regarding his mods, and several others have used his cars with his blessing in other mods.

Well I think Speedster mentioned he had found a better model so eventually he will release a new one making this one redundant---frankly I can't imagine the new model looking much better than this but Speedster has modeller's eyes---more discerning than mine.

I've already done my physics for the 250p---275p and 330p so I'm ready.

He seemed interested in this work of yours so I say release with documentation and thanks to Speedster.

I would say it is good to release to. I'm sure Speedster would be very happy to see his work creatively changed to make another model of the car.

Proper permission has arrived! Now I have to make sure that I have done everything I set out to do. I am working on the windscreen area trying to straighten it out further. Like this.
 

Getting closer.   I may have to crash the front and rear to make it a little shorter.  

Yes I see what you mean---behind the back wheel looks a bit long---I doubt that that is an easy fix.

I'd take it as is gladly----perhaps the new model is better proportionately and that's why Speedster is working on it.
