| One more
CG=2.1 ----this is the vertical center of gravity where the mass is centralized. As the Porsche is low to begin with and it's a flat boxer engine----the CG would be substantially lower than say a 64 Corvette with it's upright V8 and higher ground clearance.
5. Brake torque fr=1700 Brake torque rear=1500
OK---when you brake---inertia pushes the weight of the car towards the front---therefore front brakes are larger than the rear----this is a magnified problem on front--engine cars as weight bias is already higher on the front. On the Porsche as it's md to rear engine the percentage difference between the front and rear brake is smaller since the weight shift under braking would be smaller and because of higher rear weight the tires on the rear can handle more of the braking without the tires locking up and skidding.
I hope this is helping----explaining clearly is tough as this stuff has become instinctual to me after all this time.

| Yes it is and thanks very much. Just FYI there is no need to explain the actual physics, having built cars and raced cars and bikes and having been a student of motor racing all my life, I understand the real world very well, just not clear on how it is represented in the sim.
Thanks again, making more and more sense every day.
As an educator myself, I understand how difficult it is to teach stuff you know intuitively; trying to formalise 25 years of management consulting into training courses was a lot trickier than I thought it would be. But as I often said to students, the real test of your knowledge is whether you can teach it...

| True----I don't know how much you know but think of it this way----over-explanation can benefit someone other than yourself now that NoGrip is gone.
New guys coming in need this kind of info so they are able to contribute in the future. A car needs to be evaluated holistically because every parameter has an effect just like in the real world of racing.

Yes absolutely I use the same principal in social media discussions in my animal welfare work
