So, Where's everyone from?

I decided this section needs waking up so let's go.

The sim community is a diverse worldwide community and it's one of the things outside the sims themselves I've always loved about it, meeting people from all over the world.

Me? I'm Den, Dad of three wee daughters and live in Toronto, Canada, a city of 5 000 000, cold as all get out in winter (-30C and lower plus wind chill that goes right through you but almost never any snow!!) and hotter than the bowels of Hell in summer at 40C and higher with nasty humidity. I was born on the East Coast of Canada and hot weather is NOT something I enjoy.

I'm from Bristol, south west England.

Famous in history for pirates, slavery and cigarette manufacturers. So not a great legacy !

Despite all that it is a beautiful maritime city. I'm also 20 minutes drive from Castle Combe circuit which is a bonus!

I am 41 and my first child is on the way in January. I think I may have less free time to play & mod then

i'm actually 1 hour far from Spa Francorchamps and this is greaaat
i already saw the 24hrs, the 1000kms, Spa euro race and so on
but my favourite is tha Spa 6 hours(which i'm trying to repdroduce in GTL)

I´m having GTL since many years, but I just heard about modding nearly one year ago.
I have build some (very low quality) skins and converted a few cars from GTR now (thanks to EvoFQ for the Tutorial btw) and hope that in some years I can make some mods on my own. But I think I´ll have to learn a bit more, and atm I have enough to learn for school...

Hello, I'm John and I am an addict. I live in South Australia, 7km from the beach but it is often too cold, and we have no surf.

I am originally from South Africa, and as a child used to go to Kyalami for the Grands Prix with my dad. In 1976 as a 10 year old I remember sitting in the stands by the pit entrance (for the marshal's families) and having a long chat with JYS who wandered over before the race. Made an impression in this childs mind that for always stays - a hero to me.

Hi, I'm Gordon 61yrs old from South Shields near Newcastle in the N.E. of England. I live just about 2 miles from the coast (North Sea).

Frank Williams (Williams F1) was born here and so was the first lifeboat. We also had the first electric powered lighthouse.

My nearest race track is Croft which is just over an hour away. Apart from driving Sims the only other racing I have doen was with 4wd R/C cars on a slippy wood floor, what a hoot!

Hey Vanaja ! I know pretty well your gorgeous country sonce my dad was the Head of industrial products commercial dept at Nokia ! Then, I spent a lot of time here in Suomi (Turku, Salo, Helsinki, Rovaniemi, Jyväskylä and the Gulf of Finland !) and a lot of time in savu sauna for hiki !

I know that finlanders love beer but I do preferred Finlandia (Red point) or Koskenkorva ;-) with a drop of sirop...And, as weel, suavas poro !!!

Hmm... that place is called at Pitkämön notko, there you can get your moped go very, very fast. Well, we have motorstadion at here, Botniaring. It's quite nice track. And we have those Zetor tractor meetings and races at every summer.
