Can you please help me with the following? I've put Ron123's 1957 T-Bird in game but the AI controlled car is floating above the track surface. The players controlled car is no problem, all tyres tough the track surface. But as soon as I switch to AI controlled the body sinks a little and all wheels rise a few cm. See attached pics. What's wrong here??? Many thanks for your help.

Try putting the cars tyres in the teams folder this controls the cars graphical representation on track.
Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestion but it doesn't solve the problem. (and I have optimised the Radius so that all tyres touch the trqack surface) So it must be something else...

The car is heavily modified to fit into my PnG based Fifties Legends mod: roll cage removed, rear fender panels removed, PnG based physics/tyres, period correct (210 hp) engine and gearbox. The position in the showroom/spinner was also adjusted, lower and a bit further back.
But I found the cause of the problem, it was in the tyre (.tyr) file. To gain some extra speed with the given engine, gearbox and rear axle I increased the RadiusRPM value too much. The limit appears to be 1.01e-5, any higher is causing the wheels to lift when AI driven.
