The 'Sounds=' instance in the .car file calls the .aud file and this one calls the individual .wavs in the sounds folder. If you have everything in place and didn't touch anything in the .aud file then it should work.

Hi schroener.
The .car file should look like this..

HDVehicle=porsche_917_10_002.hdc
Graphics=porsche_917_10_002.cas
GenString=
Sounds=porsche_917_10_002.aud
HeadPhysics=headphysics.hed

The file Sounds=porsche_917_10_002.aud should be in the
C:\GTL\Gamedata\Teams\Can-Am\Porsche 917-10-002 folder, or whatever you
may have changed/named it to.......

And make sure you have the sounds folder in....

C:\GTL\GameData\Sounds\CAN-AM

Hope this gets you working..!

I was wondering the same as CanAm cars were incredible!

I can only imagine the amount of work and time it may take, so thank you for the info and for the effort.

The worst part of it is that we had it almost ready to release when my HD melted down, so we had to start over from scratch. The good part is that when it's released it will be a much better conversion, with lots of new skins, high quality skins. We're working on the models as well.

Hello Jose... Long time man... what, a year and some.? I would like to offer my time on the Can-Am mod that is in progress but lack of it (time) has different plans for me at the moment... Maybe in a month or two I can be of some assistance. I will have to play it by ear. As you know in the past I had done some work on the Chapparal 2J and the rear turbines which I would love to see in the mod...

About the 2J, we already have it, with permission to release LaBombarda's rfactor mod, converted to our beloved sim. It's a great 2J, with working rear fans and it's a fine model.

However, if you want to help, pm me when you have the time and we'll discuss it.

Sorry about that, You guys are right, I should have been more polite. It wont happen again. I thought that since it is discussed as a GTL WIP, and the GTR2 is out, it would be available for GTL as well. I apologize.

    "WIP" means: "Work In Progress". So, dear conti64, this is an unfinished work yet. When finished, someone could, maybe, convert it to GTL, but only, and just only, when this job finish. Capito??
