| I love the Miura to bits, but I find it's undrivable att speed. Basicly it refuses to turn corners because of lack of grip & thus can not compete with other cars of same class. I realy need better phyisik file for the Miura, I remember reading somewere here that someone had converted the lambo countage physiks to the Miura. If so can you please upload them here, or post a link for them, other wise can someone help me by converting the Countage or apropriat car physiks for me . I'm asking for help as I know nothing about modding or physiks (at all ) in GTL or any other game. ! I don't want the car to run on rails , just to be compeditiv if you know what I mean. Please help I love this car dearly but I'm looseing seconds by the buckit load when cornering. ( Bathurst = -13sec per lap !!! ) | |

Sorry noodels I 'm no help but isn't that how the real cars handled? The shape of the nose of the car acted like an aeroplane wing. This created lift and made the car rather tricky to steer at speed! I agree it is a lovely mod, I have managed to win a few races on Semi Pro level in it but it took a lot of practice.

| Subject: Miura better driving and AI Mon 17 Apr 2017, 10:05 pm | |
| I made a new hdc file for the Miura In an attempt to get it to handle better and race offline against the 60'sAI cars in P&Gv32. My approach has not been to modify physics but mostly to Modify values in game garage setup menu. I've added more rear bar, since it seems to be a bit tail heavy. To compliment this, I've changed AITorqueStab=(1.25,1.25,1.25) to AITorqueStab=(1.07, 0.93, 0.90), tested at Riverside CanAm - the AI makes it through the S turns much better, and better after high speed straight too! The Springs are softer at default values to help keep tire contact patch on non airport style flat or bumpy tracks. In the advanced setup menu(in game)the rear left slow rebound was set to 5 by default and I could'nt lower it in game. I fixed this in the hdc, renaming SlowReboundRange=(1000.0, 500.0, 5) to SlowReboundRange=(10000.0, 500.0, 5) to match the rear right side. I sorry I don't know how to add Feelers to the car as it surely needs them. Please try this new hdc and see it you like it. It is made to work with the original files by Ralph B. and I would like to thank him for this wonderful car and sincerely hope that he will not be offended by this effort. And thanks to all on Evolution modding! I just need permission to post the file. Thanks, TimmyC | |

| @ Gambiteer. You can post a fix for a car without any permissions as you are not posting the whole mod, just an update. | |

| had a go at the physics this morning i have lowered the mass the fuel tank was above the vehicle centreline up by dash so it has been lowered and pushed forward
slight change to the CG rear range also adjusted/repaired the SlowReboundRange settings as suggested by Gambiteer
changes to: AIEvenSuspension AIDamperSlow AIDamperFast AIDownforceBias AIMinPassesPerTick
there are probably more changes to be made, but this was not an easy car to drive, perhaps this is enough. I also feel the standard engine is too powerful and could be lowered.
included is the skin i previously released for GTR2 The Bob Chapman car No plate IOTA http://www.mediafire.com/file/h9u923zi8be2v23/gtl_update_Miura.rar

| Thank you Philrob, i have two Miura slots and your car is in one of them. Can't wait to try your updates. Very interesting about the fueltank. Your riverside track is a blast! I'm stuck in the 60's. Thanks for all you do for us. Are any of the tracks available for Gtr2 from the sixties trackpack rFactor. Driving those tracks in the Miura would be sweet. Just to mention one, 65 Spa is a mindblower!
