5th project...F1 1968 ...this mod is not a full grid of 1968 but has over 14 cars from 1968 and a few bonus 1970...however if somone cares to join the team and complete it when the time comes maybe....still the lotus looks shiny and new...lol

well but this right after being converted from scgt so all will get bery improved.

Bear in mind the following.
1- its the protos gr.5 mod that will continue to have full prioritty and ill do all this projects with my team one at a time on each stage of development
2. these f1 mods and the imsa/trans am mod i can not assure u i can release them in public sites,if i dont get the permission,but i hope so...
now lets get back to le mans...

I applause those greast efforts from antoniog7772, but honestly, don't you think the cars have not the quality compatible with GTL? Don't you think they are extremely cartoonish and old fashioned way to make simcar's ? And don't you think is too much projects to be real in a short time, in fact, my dear friend Antonio?
Have you seen Marian's quality in his new Mods? This is what GTLers want and like to their Simulators.
GTL deserves cars minimum as the original GTL's cars are. We can't think about third class old games been arriving to GTL!
Could you agree with me, good buddy? Think about that, please!

I think its a fair point Ney,the cars have to be at least as good as the original GTL cars in the game
I know quite a few of the new mods that have come along are simply outstanding,and not all can match that high standard.
But a standard does have to be set,and that matching the original cars at least is a fair place to start

Although I respect your thoughts I must entirely disagree. These cars may not have the high poly skins and models that newer mods do, however what they do have is many cars that would probably never be seen in GTL without being created in this manner. Also, although it may appear that all Antonio does is add new cars to convert, he has actually made an amazing amount of progress from the original models he started with many months ago, and I would not say that this is too many projects, as these can not be expected in a short period.

Honestly, what it really comes down to is if you don't like it, don't download it. I am a long time GTL driver and a driver of GP Legends so I honestly have no qualms about the quality of these cars, and I would guess many other people feel the same.

My view is that if it's what you like then that's great!

The eye will get used to cars with less detail and your imagination will do the rest.

Yes it is a step back in time, but until someone can do mods with much better graphics this will surely fullfill the dreams of some drivers... and that's not a bad thing.

In the end, the choice to use them or not is up to the individual... we are all different!

Remember also that these are wip. With better wheels, a bit of detailing and some texture work they can look a whole lot better than they originally did.

Well my friends, and mostly to Antonio: I respect very, very much anyone who works and works hard, to increase our beloved GTL, for free, thinking only in share their good or bad jobs with his mattes in our community!
All the time I'm in this community, for more than 7 years maybe, I try to support and be gratefull and kind to anyone who needs or make some work bad or good, doesn't matter!
But, I'm always totally honest, transparent in my toughts, but, still but, trying to be always kind and friendly with my mattes, mostly with Antonio, who is a good friend of mine.
My criticism in this case, was not with Antonio, but with this philosophy to take bad and old Mods, and try to bring them to GTL, that is in another level of quality.

But, I have to agree and "DITTO" with DBR, GeeDee and Zee this time.
I'm sorry, very sorry! If I didn't like I had to preserve my big mouth shut, and when the job is done, if I don't like, it's very simple solution: don't download.
I just grab my whip and I'll be whipping my back, like some people around the world does, the next half hour, as penance for my mistake and my injustice.

Although the decision to D/L or not is entirely down to the user,and accepting that this is a w.i.p ,I still think the comment is worthy of merit.
The point being,if your going to use a game as a base from which to start,then to use models that are inferior is a retrograde step,that is a fact.
You may well end up with more cars,but the question you will end up asking yourself,"Quantity or Quality"
That being said,I have every faith that Antoniog will work some magic on these mods with time,and any problems will be long forgotten
