Yup, it's in plans. Actually, started already skin #7 from 1963LM, but let's hope I can do all of them properly. That's because the mapping is kinda messy. It looks like on certain parts of the body everything placed there is "modified".

Working on it, but there was quite a lot of stuff that had to be fixed/reworked and it's time consuming. The template I assembled is not that good, not to mention that there's no wireframe, so life it's not very easy when skinning either. It looks like the model is not that good, there were all kind of gaps (some call them "daylight") in the body I had to take care of, some parts were oversized etc etc. Here're some photos where I marked various stuff I still need to fix/rework.

I hope you dont consider it rude of me to point out, but dont you think the side profile of your car is more "dumpy" than the real car;the real car seems sleeker and longer in the tail section ? perhaps the roof needs a top chop ( as the yanks would say) Please take this as constructive critism- you guys do such a lovely job putting smiles a mile wide on us old farts faces !

I am sorry I cant help, I havent the foggiest idea how these things are done, after having critised your Costin bodied (?) Aston. I felt bad.

By the way, do see all the other videos in the G.T Racer SERIES ON YOU TUBE they get the dopeamine flowing !

Mmm yeah, you're right, the model is not really accurate. Noticed myself that some side lines do not seem to look like on the real DP214 and DP215. Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a true modder, I don't build these cars from scratch. Don't know how to do that. If you noticed, it could take years to build a single car from scratch. I can say I've just learn the basics, nothing more. Modifying a big part of the car, like the roof + rear part, I think it's too much for my skills, this might get messy and be just a waste of time. All I can do is to continue to do what I know at the moment and offer you the main model to GTL/GTR. After the release, if someone more experienced would like to pick it up and improve it... no problem with me.

Dont let me put you off!the Aston still looks preety. in any case its only in the replay that you can really make out the difference driving on board and the rear viewyou cant really tell.

I did not know it takes that long to scratch build a model. I have scratch built some car models in my youth when I couldent afford plastic kits - that used to be just fold here tuck that ,paint that and you had a model car

I guess it had the same engine from the two times F1 WC 500 F2.

Right, basically the same engine, a bit less power (less compression, I guess), and with some more bore and stroke, the cars became a 625, 735, 750, 857 and finally 860, with several abbrevs and nicknames.

And somewhere in 1953 and 1954, Ferrari added two cylinders to that engine and made it an inline 6, which became known as the 118LM (3.7l) and 121LM (4.4l). Not the most successful horses from the stable, I'm afraid.
