I think Zee is right, the 3D part assigned to the spindle contains the steering bar too, not just the drum. So, probably that's what makes it not alligned with the center of the wheel.

Yep, I think if you have only 1 part for disc and spindle, it should work correctly...

New project: Porsche 356A Coupe. Good model. The hood mapping was way off, but managed to allign it with the rest of the car. Lots of mapping remained to be done tho.
Anybody knows how to create a lighting scene (the light to fall from the top, perpendicular on the car) in 3ds Max in order to create/render the shading?

This car is one of my great passions. I wish you a good work on it. Marian. That's a great car to have one more in GTL.
PS: you have a PM.

Great one, Marian, always had a soft spot for that one, expecially the Le Mans version: http://gamemodels.ru/files/file/8840-porsche-356-sl-gm%C3%BCd-coup%C3%A9-51/

@ drionita: yeah, one day..... It's a lot more work these days than it used to be. Since Forza 6 appeared, things are a lot worse. That's because a lot of mapping is lost (or maybe non-existent), then there're dozens of textures now, but they're worthless (at least to me). So, this car requires mapping + creating the textures = weeks/months of work.

My post didn't mean to make a request, mate I know it takes time to make mod!

Very nice Marian. The old ones showed a very low tyre profile/side view . Now it seems very much more real. Anxiously waiting for your upload. Thanks for doing it for us, dear friend!

Oh well, better than nothing for me. It's the right car (Ford Coupè), but the wrong year (1940 instead of 1950). Still, it's just a gridfiller/backmarker so I'm fine with it.
Now back to the Vallelunga.
Is this T-bird available for download? Thanks

The base model I used yes, but was heavily modified by me to become a convertible. http://trackaholics.forumotion.com/t1089-ford-thunderbird-1957-released#17941 The skins were never released as I never made my convertible modification public to begin with. I can upload my archive, if you want, but it needs to be converted back to GTL/GTR2 first before being able to be used.

That sounds very generous. Speaking of your archive, didn't you do a few skins for speedster1963's Porsche 924? Been looking around, but didn't find anything.

Yes, I did.
But it's one of those projects I've never had the time to finish. It was more of a stop-gap until BLT released theirs, but it never happened (and probably never will now that John has left us) and I never finished mine either.

Looks very promising! This could also be a small but great addition to the 1967 WSC mod since there was a Spitfire at Sebring that year.
