2015 G3 Championship League

In about one month, we will see the start of our Monthly two-day league, the 2015 G3 Championship. This is a custom Skinned league, meaning you can drive a skin you paint yourself on one of the 5 G3 class cars that was included in GTR2. We will be following the 2004 FIA GT schedule in order to limit the number of downloads, and download size. In addition to those 11 rounds, we will also be racing at Circuit of the Americas to make it a 12 race season, one for each month. Be sure to check out the league and sign up for it if you are interested. I need skins by the 31st.

April 20th sees the 2015 G3 Monthly Championship race at Hockenheim. Last time out, the drivers battled for victory at Magny-Cours, with Mongoose coming out on top after a force feedback failure prior to turn 1 on lap 1 made him fall down the order. Henz led his first lap of 2015, but it was Thunter who drove away leading the next 5 laps before DBenham took the lead away and took control of the field, not only picking up the bonus points at the halfway point, but leading the most laps in the process before Mongoose finally stripped it away from him with 5 to go where he would keep it.

At the end of the night, Mongoose, Shade13, and Thunter all jumped above V12 in the points standings while Renegade Autosport closed the gap on Hunter Racing in the Team Championship. There are still 9 races left in the championship for V12 to make up the lost ground, while others will be trying to climb above V12. Come be a part of the championship which will run once a month all the way through December.
