Here is the Maserati Tipo 60-61 "Birdcage"

Engine smoothed out torque curve touch more HP
modified Suspension setup
Clearer screens
Central mirror reduced in size
All cars running the 1961 setup and engine
Race tyres
Now 11 cars in total.

Mod is for GTR2  GTL-GTR2  classes="GTL, 65-GTC, Tipo_60-61_Birdcage"
Add remove classes to suit your install.

Are those skins historical accurate of just fictional fantasy?

Edit: found it, all fictional fantasy  
I can't/won't put them in my PnG3 install.

Any plans for real (historical) skins and drivers?

I skinned them as I thought they should look.

Try these settings in the .car files for better eyepoint and camera target settings.

Eyepoint=(-0.185, 0.45, 0.600)
CameraTarget=(0.000, 0.500, 0.200)

Try one car first see what you think.

Dunno if FG added something new, but I created some tyre styles with visible lettering and I use them now like for all my mods for the sake of diversity. If these are the ones I created, all are real. The Goodyear lettering is historic, cannot remember about the Dunlop lettering, but the Pirelli lettering is not historic. Pirelli had visible lettering back in the 50s, but they used a different font style.

Hello there and sorry for disturb (cause my newbie questions)... but, how I can install this car ?

1- Inside GTL-GTR2 mod folder (in Teams folder), there 4 folders for cars... I put the "Maserati Tipo 60-61 ''Birdcage''" folder inside "GTC-65" folder... I put it out there too... and no way... no works

2- I add "Tipo_60-61_Birdcage" tag inside GTL-GTR2´s GDB file (Single Makers) like as a Special Class... and this doesnt work...

3- Anything I make, car never is showed in the showroom... tag and/or name appears in the lists, but the car doesnt appears in the showroom... and if I choos go ahead... the game end crashing to desktop meanwhile is loading.

... so... I dont know how to do this... if you can explain a bit about, thank you in advance.

No, they arent there... its all the link (in thr first post) provide, when you download it:



No sound folder either. Usually, stand alone cars come with a sounds folder, I have seen.

Some mods use sounds that are already installed into the game so it's not neccessary to add a sound folder that make the file bigger.

The files (folder stex_gtl.gtr and Helmets.gtr) aren't always attached to a mod so if you do need them, a download link can be made if you do not have them.

Yes, I dont have them... unles it could be extracted from other original files... I know stex file, usually I see it into Teams folder... but I dont know, anyway I need a guide for that... Or the download link with the needed files, if you can, please.
