ok, this time a small Porsche progress info:
the reshaped 907 is ingame finally, the car is newly uv-mapped, still needs to make a new proper window mesh paint template and to tweak some body template texture bugs.

ok guys, I was talking with deep-strike if we could release some bit more info about the possible LMC mod bonus cars.

the top secret stuff will be discovered now:
its the car from ROTMs F1C pack and it was my presonal 7-day challenge to get the car into GTL, with scratch made cpit.
the external model got new wheels, new mirrors and a skin paint. as mentioned already, ROTMs cars doesnt have any real cpit, so I did one. the gauges arent functional sofar.
our great physics and sound designer, deep-strike, managed to make in a few next days the turbine engine physics and soundset.
well, he did some test work on it some time ago already infact, so I gave to him the mesh now ))
still the stuff is at early test stage, its great fun to drive this exotic single speeded "jet" already

I think no need to say whats the car name, right?

and now back to our original LMC cars, the Porsche 907 Longtail actual ingame lookout:

as to the Lola T70, nope mate, this car wasnt planned, still its one of my favorite car objectives since my first GTR modding attempts (yeah, I mean GTR, not GTR2)... well, never say never, things can change like it with Chaparral happen two weeks back

Years come and go, but great simbin games seem to last for ever. I still remember when I got GTR. It was so much better than any console racers I had played before. Then came GTL and GTR2 which I still play online every week. New games are just lacking the spirit these games have.
If all these planned cars are released some day I will be very happy and won't miss Lola.

Great work, Borek, the Sport Prototype cars are really fantastic! I love them!

btw, I think I will need some help again. I am looking for some good Porsche 907, 908 and 917 Longtail engine photos or drawings (camera top view).
needs to note I am not looking for some "stripped "engine footage, but for images, where I could see, how it looks under the rear car glass.

my imagination how to make it is such sofar:
* Porsche 907 L - 2x4 engine pipe, middle circled "thing" not visible
* Porsche 908 L - 2x4 engine pipe, middle circled "thing" visible
* Porsche 917 L - 2x6 engine pipe, middle circled "thing" visible

when modeling such mesh I am just not sure about the engine pipes proportions and if there are the pipes visible with the circled "cooler" together or without it, if they are covered somehow like at the K versions or so on.

ok, this maybe will make some of you angry... its not about the GTL/GTR2 LMC mod progress. these images are unedited Assetto Corsa screenshots, my small "what if" attempt which presents how could look our GTL/GTR2 cars converted in Assetto Corsa.
