well, for me is always nice to see some new posts instead of any patient silence.

to be honest my primary objectives changing partly right just by user response activity. having a few airplanes and cars work in progress announced and if there is less and less response at the current project, I am switching to the other one, which eighter I just love to do or it is currently a hot awaited stuff.

 EXACTLY my point of view, because IF I'd be able to post anything without pissing anybody off I would be screaming "RELEASE THIS MOD!!!1!!"

I have to agree with the folks above. We have all been eagerly awaiting this mod and trying very hard to not be aggressive in our approach to asking for it. We all know how much this annoys the modders and fellow players.

Personally, I have been asking about this mod over the last couple of years (is it that long?). This to me represents an incredible era of Sports Car racing. It was Ferrari's last real push (in 1970 the 512's while built by Ferrari were not factory efforts, they were all private teams) in Sports Cars. The American teams were still backed by Ford and Porsche was slowly awakening and becoming a player for overall victories in the long distance events.

Truly an exciting time in racing! So I urge you to keep the "pedal to the metal" and bring this mod to fruition. While the audience may not be the greatest in size our appreciation will more than make up for it!

I've been a modder for 10+ years and I've seen fellow colleagues (and myself) getting angry at people asking and asking and asking for release dates. But a modder asking why nobody is asking about the mod is a first.

Yes, there is too much asking in this message.

But we always say that it's rude to "harass" modders with the same old questions, so it's either we keep quiet or you update us without waiting for someone to come forward. I'm personally only interested in the short and long tail Alpines and the cockpits of the Chappie and Porsches. The old lowres ones need to disappear as soon as possible from my hdd, and the release of your files can't come soon enough.

well, I personally cant remember too much "when finally" askers or "gimme gimme" post makers and I am a modder since end of 90s infact. to avoid of such posts, there is even such rule for many forum sites.

the point is elsewhere, as Ive mentioned already just dont be affraid of bumping the thread from time to time

We all have the other cars in one way or another, until your full mod is released I'd say we can live with them as placeholders.

The Alpine, however, is the most "urgent" one, in both short and long tail versions.

Well, they all were originally on UMD for sure as I got them from there between 2012 and 2014 or so, but the site is closed to new members, so unless you have a friend on the inside you can't get them.. But we reposted them all on EEC not so long ago, so register there and get them after being given access.

But most of the source models are the same as Boreks' (ROTM's SCGT mod), although with modified 3D models for unique race by race specs. Others are Forza/pCARS conversions/updates. The guy who made these cars had big plans, but hasn't released anything in months/years, so..

as to the LMC one, yeah, its currently same model as the GTR2 shots source but wheels, new texture and scratch made cockpit (with unfinished virtual cockpit gauges). anyway, some body changes are in plan.

as to the TX sound set, deep-strikes version use turbine samples very similar to the real Howmet TX footage, still what Ive tested very long time ago, wasnt fully tweaked yet.

as to the TX physics, what Ive tested very long time ago, was a big fun even not fully tweaked. really funny to drive a single gear vehicle. yep, no shifting, guys

as mentioned, the whole LMC mod public mod release completation stays on the final Porsche skins and tweaks now... here is the actual stage:

Ive decied to make all skins bit dirty looking, also the main skin for the white cars is not a clean white color index now. the final skins are 2048x2048 pixel resolution.

also I think such visual solution fits better with Power and Glory original cars.
