the two main variants, basically the longtail variants from 1968 and 1968 are available in the RookoeOfTheMans car add-on pack for F1C as you can see it in the picture above.

but dont worry, as our mod thread members already know, all such kind car sources is variously visualy improved, to match the GTL/GTR2/rF common standards

however, right because the old 3d models are under overhaul, it would be shame to not try to make the shortail variant too, which, as far as I know I never saw at any racesim

in another words, all what you can see on the picture above is possible to take like a bonus A220 car add-on pack content.

Oh, some additiomal facts: The High winged version is a 1969 Test version of the car, never raced.

BTW: I'm actually looking forward to buying that green-blue one, it's a 1:43 scale model from Spark Models, made of resin

Could we have some of those in the future? The A110 would be the easiest as I would reccomend to do a skin for Speedster63's A110. Want to know why? Because: More Alpine = More Fun!




BTW: A hobby of mine for about 2 years now is collecting model cars, some of those include the 1966 Alpine A210 (from that year's 500k Nürburgring race), the 1978 Renault Alpine A442B (1978 Le Mans 24H) and 1949 Tatra T600 Tatraplan (patriotism has to be) as well as a 1937 Auto Union Typ C Stromline (AVUS-Rennen 1937).

There are lots of A110 mods already, but no M64 or A210.

If you want an A110, I recommend you the one from the Brickyard Legends. There are high quality templates available for it.

That A210 would be one of the greatest aditions if it's released! Would match perfectly Le Mans 1966-69!

I've already started doing one yesterday, and that for speedster63's A110

I could discuss the Alpine-request with deep-strike again, we was talking about such french cars by past. still each another Renault Alpine type means a development delay for possible other bonus cars.

all the A220 variants would share same interiror, but for A210 or M64 it would need to create this unique. and I am not counting current car physics, its not a matter of a short time frame.

A110 if ever would be added into LMC one day, would be ideal to be permission convertible for other games in future (rF, rF2, AC...), which cant be SimBin original but GTL/GTR2 also not any commercial game rip. arent the speedster63s A110s right such conversions from commercial games?

if you want work with A110 use from BLT is good choice
(but problem is permisson)

ok, I was talking with deep-strike and we still keep the public announced bonus cars as priority, so no other Alpine mod development then the 220 ones.

we have a few another "wanna to add" bonus cars in focus infact, which weren't announced...

Open-top version of the Mk.1/Mk.2 Lola T70 is in the Rf2 game but I dont know about conversion possibilites (for public release I mean). One cool add would be the Mirage M2/M3 cars (M2 was the coupe, M3 the open-top version)


But AFAIK it is not available in any game so it would require to be scratch made and that's such a pain

He's talking about the first version of the Mk.3, not the Mk.1/2.


Most noticeable difference is a different front section.

It has been done a long time ago.

I know what he means. But the Mk.1/Mk.2 has the same front end with the Mk.3a and it's actually modeled right, not like that modified model by ff94. which, as good an effort as it is, and a great placeholder which i of coure use myself, is still a bit messy imo.

yes, the Lola Mk.IIIGT is our car objectives. our chosen model we saw as a very old F1C CSGT 1967 mod part, the readme says the model is made by Michael Audiard. we have also permissions to convert/overhaul all cars made by Marco F. he made a lot of cars and also a Lola Mk.IIIB.

I personally am now focused bit on Ford Mk.I, the Le Mans 1969 winner car. surprisingly such car doesn't exist, none of the available usable models is a fat back. still it would be easy achievable as Marco F. model owerhaul.

The 69 LM winner was already done by P&G mod team. By the way, what about your partnership with them?
