Not if you're just painting skins. BLT releases templates for everyone to use.

No they don't. Half the cars don't have templates and papag is ignoring my messages merely asking for some of them.

only permission correct always are our GTL or GTR2 mod stuff goals, to avoid of problems when conversions into rFactor or any other game in future

there is no problem to make all wanted cars from scratch, but some old models just should deserve some kind of attention yet, they can look pretty well present day, with some slight touch.

if commercial game authors doesn't care about unallowed rips from his stuff isn't too much important, but you barely will be able race such cars at Bude sites, for example

It is true that it's quite hard to get those model-rips to race on the bude, but Alpine fans could get a BLT version for GTL/GTR2 as well as a speedster63 version for rFactor.


BTW.: While we're on the topic of scratch making cars, what about the 1967 Matra M630 BRM?  It's a car not many know of + I haven't seen it in any game yet. Are there any means of bringing that onto the LMC Bonus Car List?

I saw some such car somewhere, a lowpoly version. latestly at Antonios Absolute Le Mans mod for GTR2. also deep-strike mentioned someone does one, if I good remember.

Templates are released after the main mod release to save the hosting servers some bandwidth. Not everybody paints.

I didn't take in consideration possible conversions. There are some rFactor mods that include the A110, but I think that most of them use the original GTL mesh. I don't know about other GTR2 mods, but P&G definitely uses it.

I know of a sweet, beautiful Matra 630 made by a group named Pixsim. They were going to release it for rFactor, but then they decided to shift platform and release it for rFactor2 or AC (I can't remember which exactly). However, they never came to release it.

They might have split or retired, or maybe they're still working on that mod, but I haven't read anything new about them in quite a while. I don't know, maybe it's worth to contact them.

yep, that pixsims MS630 patters Ive found now too, still I am not sure if deep-strike means this source.

Ive also checked the Antonios mod again and I can confirm various Matras are included there, including the MS630 and M630 BRM. they are just lowpoly variants comparing to the pixsim very nice model.

Or you can't link them because they're not released, nor in the BLT account on NoGrip used for mods nor in his own personal account used for misc files, templates and patches.

I do have that one already, but looking at it closer it reveals so many thigs wrong with the mod, for example the whole side window as well as those vets behind them are wrong, the handling is... well, terrible and the interior is the same as with the standard GTL GT40.

To sum it up, there surely was put effort into this mod but not as much as Borek does here, so I would be very happy to see this quite unkown car given a high-quality tribute.
